Marshalltown High School and Iowa State University’s Science Bound recently celebrated members of the Marshalltown High School Class of 2026 during the annual Science Bound Honors Celebration & Signing Day.
The event recognized students for their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to future success in agriculture, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and education-related fields. Students were honored alongside family members, educators, and community supporters as they signed their Science Bound commitment certificates.

Founded through Iowa State University, Science Bound is a nationally recognized pre-college through college program that supports students through academic enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, and college and career preparation. Students who successfully complete program requirements and attend Iowa State University in qualifying fields may earn a full-tuition scholarship.
The Marshalltown Science Bound program is also made possible through the support of local sponsors and community partners who continue to invest in student success and future workforce development opportunities.
Marshalltown High School administrators and Science Bound representatives congratulated the Class of 2026 students on reaching this important milestone and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in academics, leadership, and service.
